Alice Cavanagh is a Paris-based writer, editor and moderator focused on fashion, culture and design. She is a contributing editor at HTSI, the Financial Times’s luxury magazine, and writes for T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Vogue, Architectural Digest and Condé Nast Traveller, among others.

A history and literature major, she is happiest in deep discussion and approaches a breadth of topics with curiosity and careful research. The part she loves best is the conversations she gets to have with so many interesting people. She began her career as editor of Oyster and Miss Vogue Australia, and is the author of two books for Rizzoli and, most recently, the co-author of Arbiters of Style: The New Wave of French Interior Design (Monacelli, 2026).

Alongside her editorial work, Alice consults for luxury fashion, travel and design clients, and moderates panels and hosts talks for brands and institutions, bringing cultural intelligence to conversations around fashion, luxury and creativity.  She has been an invited guest on podcasts such as Fashion People with Lauren Sherman, Monocle's Konfekt Conversations and Lindsey Tramuta's The New Paris Podcast.
